Dr. Sanjay Mehta, PHA Canada Founding Director, Eternal PHriend of PHA Canada Renée joined PHA Canada’s Board of Directors in 2016 after being introduced to the PH community by her friend, former PHA Canada Director, Harry Kingston. Harry was living with PAH and knew that Renée would be an asset to the PH community, given her passionate personality and her 20 years of experience working in public health. Inspired by her experiences with PHA Canada, such as the 2015 National Conference in Montreal, Renée became a dedicated champion of the cause. In addition to joining PHA Canada, she also joined the Board of Fondation HTAPQ in Quebec and served as a crucial liaison between our organizations. Renée also played a lead role in the development of PHA Canada’s most recent strategic plan. Throughout the planning process, Renée was a strong advocate for keeping PHA Canada accountable to patients by focusing on the needs of people living with PH. Renée retired from the Board in August 2021. We are grateful for her many years of compassionate service to the PH community… Merci Renée! ...
