Saeid Maghsoudi

Saeid is a PhD student at the University of Manitoba under the supervision of Dr. Shyamala Dakshinamurti, working on Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension in the Newborns (PPHN). Using his knowledge gained from an MSc. degree in Medicinal Chemistry and professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Saeid’s goal is to find a treatment with dual function on PH and heart disease.

Saeid enjoys playing with children, listening to music, and reading spiritual books in his personal life. Saeid is excited to join PHA Canada as a knowledge philanthropist and help share stories and updates about research with the PH community.
