Improved reimbursements for PH patients in Northern Ontario

As of December 1, the Ontario government has improved reimbursement amounts for people in Northern Ontario who need to travel for specialized medical care.

They have also expanded eligibility to include travel companions accompanying a patient who is hospitalized, eliminated the need for a signature from a referring health care provider and added more eligible providers and facilities.
