On this International Volunteer Day, I am reminded of the incredible support we receive from our community. From our Board of Directors to our Knowledge Philanthropists, Ambassadors, Technology Peer Mentors, and office volunteers to those who participate in the many short-term projects, we are grateful for your dedication and generosity.
Your contributions have significantly impacted our mission to support those living with PH today and tomorrow. We are humbled by the fact that almost everyone who volunteers for us either has PH or knows someone living with or has lived with PH. Your personal experiences bring a unique perspective that cannot be taught. Additionally, your skills and expertise in various professions, such as teaching, finance, and government, provide valuable insights that help us stay focused on the needs of those we serve.
By volunteering your time, you are lending us your name and telling the world that you believe in the work we do at PHA Canada.
