Sheri Elefant

Sheri joined PHA Canada as the Director of Development in 2024. She brings extensive experience and passion for creating social value. Sheri recently served as Development Director at the Mada Community Center, leading fund development initiatives. With extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, Sheri has been a strong advocate for community support and program development. She co-founded the Trevor Williams Kids Foundation, serving inner-city and marginalized youth, and honed her leadership skills as Strategic Development Officer at the Montreal Community Cares Foundation.

Sheri began her career in advertising on Madison Avenue, managing product launches and media negotiations. Her greatest opportunity came when she chose to focus on raising her children, a decision she regards as her life's greatest accomplishment. Sheri holds a Bachelor of Science from Boston University and an EMBA in Social Enterprise Leadership from the University of Fredericton. Recognized with the Martin Luther King Legacy Award, she also holds certificates from Harvard Business School.
