Kimberly Brunelle
DIRECTOR, STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
Kimberly is a dedicated health promoter with over 15 years of experience supporting government programs and nonprofit organizations. For over a decade, she worked with organizations such as Leave The Pack Behind, The Ontario Lung Association, the Canadian Cancer Society and Cancer Care Ontario where she developed tobacco control programs and research initiatives with the goal of reducing the nation’s tobacco use rates as well as ensuring that teens never begin to smoke.
With a passion for patient care, Kimberly has spent the past several years working closely with patients and their families at the Mississauga Halton Central West (MHCW) Regional Cancer Program and the Aplastic Anemia & Myelodysplastic Association of Canada. It is these experiences that have allowed her to gain a greater understanding and level of empathy for patients and their family members as they deal with difficult and often complex diagnosis and navigation of the health care system.
Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Health from Brock University and is a TEACH certified Tobacco Cessation Counsellor. She currently resides in Mississauga, Ontario with her husband, 2 small children and 2 furry cats. Kimberly looks forward to supporting and providing education to all those living with PH.
