When the COVID-19 pandemic reached our province, many surgeries and procedures were delayed to make sure hospitals had enough room for a potential surge in patients with the novel Coronavirus. Lindsay Forsyth-Brochu has a rare and potentially fatal form of pulmonary hypertension, which requires a double-lung transplant. Placed on the transplant list in mid-March, the 31-year-old Almonte resident hoped the surgery would happen in April. That procedure has been delayed and Lindsay is still waiting. Lindsay joins Kristy Cameron on Ottawa Now.​
