Join the PHA Canada team!

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a serious and progressive disease affecting the arteries of the lungs that can lead to right-heart failure. PHA Canada exists to empower the pulmonary hypertension community through support, education, advocacy, awareness, and research. Working with and on behalf of the PH community, we aim to increase the visibility of this rare, potentially fatal lung disease and create a better life for Canadians affected by PH.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant (Calgary)

To effectively fulfill PHA Canada’s mission and vision, it is essential that our Board of Directors and staff be well-versed in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles and integrate them into our work. This not only strengthens our advocacy efforts but also ensures that we can support and represent the diverse PH community we support.

We are looking for a consultant to lead the PHA Canada team through an introductory six-hour (inclusive of lunch and breaks) interactive DEI foundational training. Training participants will have different levels of knowledge/experience related to DEI, and the training will need to accommodate these differences.
